customer reviews for Aberdyfi House

We enjoyed four wonderful days in Aberdyfi. This house is ideally located and is just stunning - a real wow. We loved watching the end of season fireworks from the top floor windows on our last evening. Comfortable, luxurious, tasteful, and perfect for a family. We'll be back! :-)

Excellent holiday accommodation, exactly as described by UTT. There was plenty of room for our family. The bedrooms ( and beds) are large and comfortable with superb views across the estuary. We like to have family meals around a large table and the kitchen was ideal for preparing these and the close car park meant it was easy to transport supplies and cases. There are also plenty of good walks including a 4 mile beach walk starting directly from the door. It wasn't quite bucket and spade weather but our little one enjoyed the ice cream shop and numerous cafes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aberdyfi House. It's grand without being stuffy with lots of quirky touches. We especially liked being right opposite the sea/beach - even in foul weather this was splendid. We lacked for nothing and when I struggled to work out the TV system the house-keeper responded promptly and was more than obliging.

The house exceeded our expectations. The interior décor is fantastic, the house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounge area is spacious with lots of seating and the record player is a great touch. Every room has brilliant view out to sea and a huge ensuite with shower and bath, perfect. The rooms are spacious and very light. The kitchenette in the rooms were excellent especially as both couples had young children who required bottles etc. We would have been very comfortable staying in the house for 4 months, nevermind 4 days! The car park opposite also made for a very efficient stay with young children. just on from the car park is a huge beach area and the sand dunes. The views are spectacular and the access is excellent. The rest of Aberdyfi is within close walking distance, including the train station, pubs and butchers (which is absolutely fantastic quality). In summary, one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in, would definitely return!

We absolutely loved our time at Aberdyfi House. It was a spectacular place to stay, with gorgeous views over the bay and spacious luxurious rooms, with all mod cons provided. One thing that will stay with me for a long time was the cracking vinyl collection that helped us while away the evenings once our little boy had gone to sleep! I would definitely like to stay here again, and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing beachfront break. I am only sorry its taken so long to leave a review!

Really enjoyable 4 nights away. Great house for kids right across from the beach. Lovely location across the road from the park and a short walk from the harbour where we spent hours catching crabs and eating ice cream. Will definitely be back.

Aberdyfi House is a wonderful place to stay - it is superbly located, beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable and has been a dream to stay in. The 3 bedroom suites are a delight - panoramic views - full of light and huge spaces you want to spend time in. The property is really welcoming, warm and charming and we did not want to leave - it is a 10 out of 10 level of accommodation. Aberdyfi itself is a gem, just enough independent shops to satisfy an hour or two of retail therapy, good pubs and eating spots (book ahead though) and the most eye popping scenery all around - a must do drive, the Cregannan Lakes - breath taking. Can you tell, we liked it here very, very much! It's wonderful

Excellent accommodation, very spacious and fantastic views of the beach, sand dunes and hills beyond from the lounge and main bedrooms. Ideally situated with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely sandy beach and children's play park just a few yards from the house. Parking (with permits) just across from the house was very useful, and we had no problems parking the cars, whatever the time of day. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday, with reasonable weather and in a beautiful area of Wales. Can certainly recommend this property for a family holiday.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this house. The location couldn't be better - right across the road from a sandy and very family friendly beach. The house itself was spacious, very nicely decorated and adored by all of our multi-generational party. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and were absolutely spotless. Couldn't have hoped for better - we will be back next year!
