about the property

A wonderful genuine Airstream caravan lovingly restored and updated in its own meadow with provate facilities. Provides comfortable and quirky holiday accommodation in Cardigan Bay, Ceredigion, West Wales, near to the villages of Dihewid and Mydroilyn.

Glamping in privacy in a wildlife haven - no need to share facilities, share a view or anything - you've your very own field on the West Wales coast! This fabulous, refurbished and stylish 1964 American Airstream caravan offers rural accommodation in its own private meadow in West Wales, near the famous Cardigan Bay coast. This 26ft long original Overlander was built in the USA in 1964 and has recently had a complete make-over - whilst many of the original features remain, some refurbishment was necessary in order to suit the 21st century 'glamper'

It is surrounded by idylic countryside, away from other buildings, with its own field teaming with wildlife, including butterflies, bats and Red Kites - with walks from your doorstep and close to the coastal area of West Wales - time spent in the Airstream provide a stress free environment, a great place to unwind and just be. The Airstream is in the most idyllic setting - the pictures don't do it or the surrounding area justice. The hosts Hugh and Jude are fantastic and despite the weather we relaxed and enjoyed just sitting and watching to wild horses in the field opposite. A perfect escape for those who like things simple with a bit of vintage charm

We enjoyed a fabulous few days in the Airstream. A unique location, very relaxing and perfect hosts. Toured this area of West Wales and particularly enjoyed all the beaches, individual shops and eating out. Will definitely use UTT again.

'Probably the most relaxing weekend we have ever had which is exactly what we needed. The meadow is teaming with wildlife , we have seen butterflies bats and even a heron. The family of geese are on constant patrol but Jimmie the dog was on hand to keep them at bay when they got too near our breakfast!' Kate Authers - Bath Life
