Cleddau Cottage

Cleddau Estuary, South Pembrokeshire

about the property

This traditional Pembrokeshire holiday cottage has retained all its original character and detail, yet has been converted into a warm and comfortable West Wales family holiday home. Perfect base for your Pembrokeshire holiday!

Cleddau Cottage, near the famous Cleddau estuary of South Pembrokeshire, started life in the early C19 as a pair of farm cottages. Today it has been carefully restored as one detached Pembrokeshire cottage with its own Grade II Listed stone bridge to the front. This charming south-facing stone cottage is located in the heart of Pembrokeshire and is set within a ¼ of an acre of sunny grounds, complimented by a large cottage garden to the front. Just three miles from the estuary celebrated for its birdlife, watersports and fishing, and five minutes from Neyland Marina (Brunel cycle trail) or 15 minutes from Milford marina for boating and watersports. You're surrounded by great beaches and castles in this area - the highest concentration of Blue Flag beaches in all of Europe, in fact.

It comes complete with its own stream where kingfishers, owls, otters and all manner of wildlife can be enjoyed and spotted by nature lovers alike. All guests will approach the cottage over it's own bridge. Cleddau has been sensitively renovated and is bursting with character. It boasts Welsh oak floor boards and an original stone Welsh inglenook (chimney fawr) in the kitchen. More pics of this property on our Facebook page

We had a brilliant time at this cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had all the modern conveniences you needed. It was great for our 18 month old as there were no steps and the garden was very safe. Perfectly located as beaches and villages are all within easy driving distance. Would definitely return.
