about the property

Renovated by our good friends Mandy and Gary, this is the best spot at Llangrannog beach!

This ground floor apartment has it all! Dog friendly, stylish and cosy with a hot tub that is just a minute’s walk to the excellent Blue Flag award-winning beach of Llangrannog.

You can spend your days on the wonderful family-friendly beach that is on your doorstep or exploring the local area and then come home to your apartment to relax in the hot tub on the balcony. Don't forget to eat out at the excellent pubs and restaurant in the village!

The apartment ticks so many boxes. It is the perfect place for a holiday at the beach with the family (you can nip back if you forget anything!) but also can be a romantic little bolt hole for a couple.

Priced per property - no further cost if up to 4 stay.

customer reviews for Cwtch Cranog

Gloriously located and beautifully appointed apartment, right in the heart of the village. Only praise for all you have managed to find a place for within this apartment. As someone who walks with a walker or two sticks, it was marvellous to be so close to the sea. Loved listening to the stream and walking down to see the sea at all times of day and heights of tide. This is my responsibility - not yours - but I should have checked what was open at this time of year (sad to go home without even one ice cream or one brunch at the Beach Hut :))

Fabulous cottage in a fabulous location. The cottage was clean and in great condition. We loved our stay and will likely book again . Thanks to Mandy and her husband for their assistance

Staying so close to Llangranog beach is wonderful. We could pop back and forth to the apartment in a minute. The village had everything we needed - even in February. Diolch!

Fabulous trip in a lovely place. We only stayed a few days but we had a great time and felt very at home. Even with not great weather we had a lovely time exploring the beach and village. We tried all the pubs and cafes and food and service was excellent and very friendly. We’d love to come back in the summer months for the amazing beach. We collected loads of stones as my 4 year old loves to paint them and there was already a little collection of stones by the fire so we decorated one and left a little memory ourselves. The house was lovely and cosy and we had everything we needed.

Lovely immaculate, comfortable, well equipped and tidy ground floor apartment, loved all the sea side decor touches the owner clearly has a very artistic eye and it looks Like she must have really enjoyed giving much thought to making the rooms look so beautiful and in the theme of a true seaside property. We loved being so close to the sea which was just a minute from the front door. Hard floors throughout made it easy to keep it all clean and the hot tub was lovely to sit in after a long days walking the coastal path which is also just seconds from The front door.

Llangrannog is the perfect place for a traditional British seaside holiday but with the added advantage of fantastic cafes and pub with delicious food and drink available and all on the sea front. Cwtch Cranog is perfectly placed to take full advantage of the location and is literally a minute walk away from everything. We didn’t have to use the car at all during our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the veranda to make the most of the weather. I am sure we will return to this beautiful spot.

The most amazing holiday from start to finish! Cwtch Crannog is such a beautiful cottage and is immaculate throughout. You step outside the front door and are right by the beach/centre of the village! I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for a blissful and relaxing beach holiday. The owners were extremely helpful in every way too. We can’t wait to go back soon! Thank you all.

We had a wonderful holiday in a lovely well equipped, beautifully decorated apartment in pretty Llangrannog. The apartment also had the advantage of a hot tub, which was great after some long walks

A thoroughly enjoyable break in a very friendly little cove, excellent food in all establishments, really enjoyed The Ship's hospitality. Shop was closed luckily enough we had everything we needed anyway. Car park space a real bonus as I understand this place gets very busy indeed. Apartment is vey cute really appreciated the little extras. Thankyou to Amanda and Gary I have no doubt we will return.

Our stay at Cwtch Cranog was wonderful. It’s a cosy seaside bolt hole in a fabulous location, just a few steps from the sea front and the beautiful coastal path at Llangrannog. The accommodation is high spec and comfortable, and we enjoyed taking a soothing hot tub on the balcony every evening after exploring the beaches and coves along the West Wales coast.

Ideally located for the beach and coastal path the property is well presented with a homely feel. Highly recommended

A happy week spent in Cwtch Cranog, the location is perfect for our family, a stones throw from the beach and Llangrannog village, the apartment was clean and perfectly suited to our needs, our daughter loved the hot tub. Most days we did not venture far from the beach at Llangrannog which is a great size, is good for bodyboarding and sand castling but can get busy especially at high tide. The coastal path views are spectacular (although you will be hard pressed to find a flat section), We ventured to New Quay for dolphin watching and to Penbryn for a woodland stroll, deserted beach and the excellent Plwmp Tart Cafe.

What a wonderful little place, so beautifully designed with everything you need, fabulous attention to detail and within a stone’s throw of the beach. We have holidayed in Llangranog for the past 12 years, staying in cottages all over the village and this one is by far the best. Although the weather was disappointing we had a wonderful time. We visited nearby beaches, ran the coastal path to Newquay and Aberporth, ate ice cream and had delicious pizza and fish and chips from Tan y Taffell and The Beach Hut. It was a perfect holiday in a stunning apartment and we will be back.

This is a beautiful well equipped cottage with lots of unexpected extras such as dishwasher and washing machine tablets, hairdryer tea coffee etc. Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom considering its a small cottage. Outdoor sitting area a real suntrap which is well equipped. Very convenient for Llangrannog beach a 2 minute walk. Lots of choice in the village for food. Well located for the Wales Coastal path which is well worth exploring Left the car in the carpark for the whole weekend Perfect

Thank you Mandy for a lovely break with the children after a horrible year! Not much was open but we loved being able to walk 30 seconds to the beach and relax in the hot tub. Gorgeous cottage perfect for a family. Dragged the kids on gorgeous coastal walk from front door, and after moaning a lot, even they admitted it was pretty cool! We will be back...

This year we have heard countless times 'it's the little things that matter' - never was this truer than our fabulous short break Hafan Crannog. The property is in the luscious setting of Llangranog & only a stones throw from the beach etc. The property has been refurbed to an amazing standard with every eventuality thought through - really well equipped, fantastically clean & maintained impeccably. The hot tub was amazing - even in the rain & the Christmas decorations made this perfect. All facilities at the property were of a high spec & the hosts were always available & responded to us very quickly. On a personal note and much the same as many others, I manage a residential mental health setting & over the last 10 months it has not always been the easiest way to earn a living so little touches that help me to switch off & unwind are really special - thank you Mandy & Gary & hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel very soon & you can continue to grow your business, maintain fabulous standards & make even more people who use your property as happy as I was. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The apartment and the area was the perfect tonic after a stressful 'lockdown' period. We loved everything about it and the location made it extremely easy and stress-free (with two little boys). The accommodation felt like a boutique hotel. Our only comment for improvement would be that we couldn't get the TV to work in the bedrooms but apart from that everything was perfect. We would love to come back and the children are describing it as the "best holiday, ever" so you can't get much better than that. The owners were really helpful and responded quickly whenever we had a question. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property and village with us!

We had a wonderful relaxing break. Everything was delightful and cosy highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to relax. Both the Ship and Pentre Arms provided good meals which saved us cooking in the evening. There is a very well equipped kitchen if you prefer to cook in.Storm Dennis produced dramatic seas for us to enjoy.Hope to visit again.

What a beautiful apartment. Magical decorations, mulled wine and mince pies awaited us as we arrived on a cold, rainy November evening. It couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were so close to the beach we couldn’t resist taking our excited dog that night. The next morning we discovered just how lovely Llangrannog is. Hafan Cranog is within 1 minutes walk to the beautiful blue flag beach and coastal paths, 30 seconds to the pub, it’s dog friendly (and Labrador proof), baby friendly, has its own car parking space and is next door to a beautiful little gallery selling local art and crafts. And all that without even mentioning the hot tub. Mandy went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. Thank you!

Stormy weather did not mar our enjoyment of this comfortable and beautifully maintained little flat - 1 min to pub, 2 mins to Cardigan bay...perfect.

Amazing apartment fab, location. We really enjoyed our stay in Llangranog. It was very relaxing with everything you need on your door step. We took a trip to Cenarth Falls which was well worth seeing, we drove to Aberporth and walked the coastal path to Tresaith where we had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn. Llangranog beach is lovely and dog friendly, you have to watch the sum set it's spectacular. You have to try the ice-cream at Caffi Patio...they are out of this world.. You can't have the same flavour twice, too many to try. When we arrive there was bubbly, Welsh cakes and milk waiting for us, a lovely welcome. The apartment has everything you need and more. Clean and cosy. The hot tub is a lovely treat and a great way to unwind. We had lunch in the Ship Inn opposite, the food was very good. Only wish we had booked for longer, we will look forward to coming back.

We had a great stay at Hafon Cranog. It's in a perfect position - actually about 10 yards from the beach car park. And having a dedicated parking space in the car park is an amazing plus in Llangrannog in the summer. The flat is lovely and well equipped. We really enjoyed the balcony - it's quiet, private and sunny and sits right over the stream, which is great. The hot tub is also very private, as it is screened. We're booking for next summer!

Love Llangrannog and now love Hafan Cranog. A stylish , well equipped bolt hole in a fantastic location, just steps from everything for a great escape. A lovely welcome awaited us ( Welsh cakes and fizz). Little things made a lot of difference for a short break, tea ,coffee ,milk ,condiments ,kitchen essentials and toilet paper ,not to be unserestimated!. Overall a boutique hotel feel experience, the hot tub was a treat. We may be seeing you again soon . Teulu Morris
