Bwthyn Tresinwen enjoys an enviable and peaceful position near the famous lighthouse on Ynys Meicl. This place is a  treat for anyone who enjoys coastal walking (some of the best in the UK), spotting wildlife (seals, dolphins, seabirds, whales if lucky), and relaxing in beautiful surroundings or by an open fire.  The cottage is a simple, reasonably priced (for the location) basic cottage that is well cared for by the owners who live just next door. We love the fact that you can walk to the shore and that you're the last house before the lighthouse. This cottage is particularly good if you've a group that needs separate bedrooms as there are four to choose from, though we consider it suitable for a maximum of six adults as the kitchen and dining area aren't large, and there is just one large bathroom.  See semi-detached sister property Hafan Tresinwen if you would like to book both cottages together.

Croeso mawr i fwthyn traddodiadol, llawn cymeriad, yn y gornel heddychlon a phrydferth hwn o Ogledd Penfro. Dyma ardal Jemima Niclas, a Dewi Emrys, y mor ar mynydd, yr adar ar blodau gwylltion. Maer bwthyn yn cynnig cysur a thawelwch i gerddwyr ac adarwyr, teuluoedd infanc ar sawl sydd ond eisiau diogi! Mae naws y lle yn unigryw ac nid yw’n anodd deall pam y mae cynifer o arlunwyr a beirdd wedi eu denu yma dros y blynyddoedd.

Perfect for a short break with the grandchildren.Cottage is freshly painted ,very pretty and quaint and has a lovely lounge with an enormous Smart TV but no DVD now which is not clear on the web. Its a place to let the kids and dog roam without fear of anything being too precious ,but very comfy and everything needed for self catering.loads of footpaths, fields, views and wildlife from the door..All in all a super place to stay at any time of the year.

Beautiful location & very peaceful cottage with everything you need. Lots of walks & Fishguard a short drive away packed with independent shops, cafes & pubs. Owners very friendly & helpful. It felt like stepping back in time - very relaxing.

A gorgeous, and deceptively large traditional Pembrokeshire cottage, in the most fabulous location. We went in the winter so could enjoy uninterrupted views of Garn Fawr, and also have a glimpse of the sea from the top of the garden. Strumble Head is a place we've visited many times before but we've never stayed at Bwthyn Tresinwen. We are so glad we have now, and would recommend it to those wanting a place and space to dream and to be inspired by, and to be within walking distance of one of the most spectacular landscapes in Wales.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn Tresinwen, it is a beautifully restored and maintained cottage in a tranquil location, ideally located to explore Pembrokeshire's coast, woods, mountain and moor. We were blessed with fine weather but cannot recall a holiday we enjoyed more.

A beautifully presented and restored cottage with all necessary facilities. Setting is unique and picturesque. Perfect for exploring wildlife, coast paths, pretty places and for just being in the cottage and grounds. Would highly recommend hope to return
